StatStrip® Glucose Xpress2 Meter

Description

The StatStrip® Glucose Xpress2 Meter is a portable, biosensor-based device for measuring blood glucose levels. It is cleared by the FDA for use across all hospital and professional healthcare settings, including with critically ill patients. The meter provides results in approximately six seconds using a 1.2 µL sample volume. Its measurement technology is identical to that of the StatStrip® Glucose system but is offered without barcoding and connectivity features. Clinical studies have demonstrated that this technology is free from significant interferences and shows strong correlation with central laboratory reference methods. The use of alternative strip-based glucose meters with critically ill patients is considered an off-label application by the FDA and CMS.
