The StatSensor Creatinine Point-of-Care Monitoring System is a portable, handheld analyzer that measures creatinine levels in whole blood using a disposable biosensor strip. It utilizes a patented Multi-Well technology derived from hospital glucose monitoring systems. Designed for capillary blood sampling via fingerstick, the system provides a rapid assessment of renal function at the point of care. Key applications include pre-procedure screening in radiology and cardiac catheterization to evaluate the risk of contrast-induced nephropathy, renal function monitoring for chemotherapy drug dosing in oncology, and patient triage in emergency departments. The device stores up to 1000 patient test results, 200 quality control tests, and data for 3000 patients and 8000 operators. Each vial contains 25 test strips.
