Description

The StakMax Microplate Handling System from Molecular Devices, LLC is an integrated stacker engineered for use with the company's SpectraMax microplate readers and AquaMax microplate washers. It provides benchtop automation for processing batches of up to 50 microplates within a compact footprint measuring 17.3 by 20.0 by 9.1 inches. Integration with a SpectraMax reader typically requires less than 15 minutes, while connection to an AquaMax washer can be completed in approximately 5 minutes without alignment. When paired with a reader, the system is operated through the SoftMax Pro software, providing a unified interface. With a washer, control is managed via the washer's onboard touchscreen, eliminating the need for an external computer. The system features a bi-directional plate transport mechanism designed for flexible operation.
