Description

The STABINO ZETA analyzer measures zeta potential and related interfacial properties to assess the stability of colloidal systems, including suspensions, emulsions, and nanoparticles. It operates on the principle of streaming potential measurement. The instrument has a broad measurement range, capable of analyzing particles from 0.3 nanometers to 300 micrometers in size and determining charge values between -3000 mV and +3000 mV. It can handle sample volumes from 0.95 mL to 10 mL. A key feature is its ability to perform rapid, automated titrations while simultaneously monitoring up to five parameters: zeta potential, streaming potential, conductivity, pH, and temperature. This multi-parameter capability, combined with high data point density, facilitates efficient characterization of sample behavior under changing conditions. When paired with a compatible particle size analyzer like the NANOTRAC FLEX, particle size can be measured as a sixth parameter concurrently on the same sample.
