Description

The Malvern Panalytical Spraytec is a laser diffraction analyzer engineered for the real-time measurement of aerosol sprays and droplets. It utilizes a 5 mW HeNe laser and a 36-element silicon diode detector array to determine particle size distributions in situ. The system covers an extensive size range from 0.1 to 2000 microns. A primary advantage is its high measurement speed, with data acquisition rates up to 10 kHz, allowing it to capture rapid dynamic changes within a spray process. The instrument incorporates technology for analyzing samples at high concentrations where other laser diffraction methods may be obstructed.
