Description
The SpectraMax Paradigm is a modular multi-mode microplate detection system characterized by its cartridge-based design. Each detection cartridge contains the optics and light source for a specific read mode, such as absorbance, fluorescence, or luminescence, allowing users to configure and reconfigure the instrument in minutes. It offers a wavelength range from 230 to 1000 nm using high-powered LEDs or flash lamp sources. The system features automated Z-height focusing to optimize the optical path for both top and bottom reads across various well geometries and sample volumes. A key capability is its extended dynamic range, enabling the measurement of sample concentrations spanning several orders of magnitude on a single plate without manual gain adjustment.
