Description

The SpectraMax MiniMax is an imaging cytometer module designed to integrate with compatible multi-mode detection platforms, such as the SpectraMax i3. This option adds cellular imaging capabilities to a standard microplate reader, enabling cell-based assays without a dedicated, complex imaging system. It utilizes proprietary solid-state illumination for brightfield and fluorescence imaging, with specific excitation at 460 nm and 625 nm. The system allows for whole-well imaging of cells in microplates, facilitating the analysis of phenotypic changes, cytotoxicity, proliferation, and protein expression. By imaging individual cells, it can provide data with higher sensitivity and lower well-to-well variance compared to bulk fluorescence measurements. Setup and analysis are conducted through integrated software, streamlining the workflow for cell-based assays.
