SpectraMax L Microplate Reader

Description

The SpectraMax L Microplate Reader is a dedicated luminescence detection system for flash and glow assays. It is compatible with 96-well and 384-well plate formats. The optical system is filter-based, operating within a wavelength range of 380 to 630 nanometers. Detection is performed using high-sensitivity, low-noise photomultiplier tubes (PMTs). The platform is designed to be upgradeable, with options for adding a barcode reader, programmable injectors, or dual-channel configurations to increase throughput. Features include ultra-fast photon counting technology to reduce noise and improve the signal-to-noise ratio, as well as automatic PMT calibration using internal LEDs. The system is suited for applications requiring fast kinetic monitoring, such as those utilizing injectors for reagent addition.
