Description

The Span Pac I Industrial Gas Generator is a robust calibration system from KIN-TEK Analytical, Inc., intended for use in industrial settings. It generates precise gas calibration standards for process analyzers such as gas chromatographs (GC), GC-mass spectrometers (GC-MS), and other gas analyzers. The system employs Trace Source permeation tubes, which are housed within a temperature-controlled oven to ensure a stable and predictable emission rate. A carrier gas flows over these tubes, picking up the target analyte to create a gas mixture of a specific concentration. The concentration output can be adjusted over a 10:1 range by varying the carrier gas flow rate, which is adjustable from 0.25 to 5.0 standard liters per minute. The generator is capable of producing standards from high parts-per-million (ppm) down to low parts-per-billion (ppb) levels. Systems are available in single or dual oven configurations, with the dual-oven model capable of generating mixtures of up to 16 different compounds. Designed for straightforward operation in industrial environments, the unit measures 24 inches wide by 12 inches deep by 24 inches high.
