Description
The SmartChem 450 is a benchtop discrete analyzer designed to automate photometric and electrochemical wet chemistry analyses. It operates at a maximum speed of 450 tests per hour and can process batches of up to 100 samples. The system is configured for environmental, industrial, and food and beverage testing, handling applications such as water, soil extracts, and fertilizers. Its standard dimensions are 70 cm wide by 105 cm long by 50 cm high. Optional modules expand its capabilities to include pH, conductivity, ORP, and nitrate sample preparation. The instrument supports the use of barcode readers for samples and reagents, which can streamline workflow and integrate with laboratory information management systems. A monitored cuvette wash cycle and reagent inventory system are included to manage consumption and waste.
