Description

Shimadzu's SCL-40 is a system controller unit for configuring and operating HPLC and UHPLC instruments. It consolidates control functions into a compact enclosure measuring 260 mm wide by 500 mm deep by 140 mm high. A key feature is the integrated color LCD touchscreen and a built-in reservoir tray, allowing the unit to stack neatly atop other system modules. Connectivity for peripheral components like pumps, autosamplers, and detectors is achieved through eight fiber optic ports, facilitating a plug-and-play setup. The controller also contains an internal web server, enabling users to monitor system status and perform basic control operations via a standard web browser on a connected computer or through third-party software. It operates on AC power from 100 to 240 volts.
