SCIEX OS software

Description

SCIEX OS is a software platform for instrument control, data acquisition, and data processing on compatible SCIEX mass spectrometry systems. It provides an integrated environment for managing LC-MS/MS workflows. The software supports high-resolution data, with a resolution equal to or greater than 42,000 full width at half maximum (FWHM), as measured on the (M+6H)6+ charge isotope cluster for bovine insulin at m/z 956. It accommodates a time-of-flight (TOF) mass range up to 40 kDa and precursor ion selection from 5 to 2250 m/z. Data can be acquired at scanning speeds up to 25 Hz, or 25 spectra per second. The interface is designed to facilitate method setup, sequence execution, quantitative analysis, and reporting, aiming to consolidate multiple workflow steps into a single application.
