Description
The SCIEX 7500+ System is a triple quadrupole mass spectrometer designed for quantitative and qualitative liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) analysis. Its mass analyzer configuration consists of three quadrupole sections for precursor ion selection, fragmentation, and product ion analysis. The system employs an OptiFlow Pro Ion Source for efficient ionization. It offers a resolution of up to 3100 for mass 922 when operating in linear ion trap (LIT) mode at a scan speed of 1000 Da/s with a peak width of 0.3 Da. In triple quadrupole (TQ) mode, it can be tuned to a peak width of 0.5 Da. The instrument supports a temperature range from 0 to 750°C for its source or related components. This platform is suited for targeted assays requiring high sensitivity and specificity, such as in pharmaceutical bioanalysis, clinical research, and food safety testing.
