Description

The Sapphire FL Biomolecular Imager from Azure Biosystems is a versatile imaging system capable of multiple detection modalities, including phosphor imaging, infrared fluorescence, chemiluminescence, and colorimetric (RGB) imaging. It is designed with a field-upgradable architecture, allowing users to adapt the system to evolving research needs. The imager utilizes either a photomultiplier tube (PMT) or an avalanche photodiode (APD) as its detector and is equipped with a solid-state laser diode for excitation. It offers a large imaging area with a field of view measuring 25 cm by 25 cm, accommodating a variety of sample formats such as gels, membranes, and microplates.
