SALD-7500nano Particle Size Analyzer
Manufacturer: Shimadzu
SKU: SALD-7500nano
Description
The Shimadzu SALD-7500nano is a laser diffraction and scattering particle size analyzer designed for the precise measurement of nanoparticles. It employs a 405 nm semiconductor laser as its light source. This instrument is particularly effective for analyzing samples with low particle concentrations or those that strongly absorb light, making it applicable for nanotechnology research and life science applications. A key capability is its wide measurement range, which extends from primary nanoparticles up to larger sub-visible particles and contaminants. The system can perform high-speed measurements, with results available in as little as one second, and provides a real-time display of particle size distribution. It also supports the real-time tracking of dynamic processes, such as changes in micro-bubble diameter from 100 nm to 60 µm. For data analysis, the instrument includes functions for statistical processing and three-dimensional display of reaction processes. Features like data emulation and mixture data simulation aid in efficient data processing. To ensure measurement stability and reproducibility, the analyzer incorporates an omnidirectional shock absorption frame (OSAF) and includes built-in self-diagnostic functions for maintenance.
