Description
HORIBA Scientific's SA-9650 is a surface area analyzer based on the flowing gas (dynamic) technique and the BET calculation method. It is suitable for analyzing powdered materials across various fields, including ceramics, battery components, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, minerals, and catalysts. The analyzer can measure specific surface area across a broad pressure range, corresponding to materials with surface areas from 0.10 to over 2000 square meters per gram. It offers both single-point and multi-point measurement modes, initiated via straightforward controls. The instrument is available in configurations with one or three analysis stations, the latter allowing for three concurrent measurements. Its physical dimensions are approximately 25 inches wide, 20 inches deep, and 26 inches high (63.5 x 50.8 x 66.1 cm).
