S-EVAP® RB 8 Position Solvent Evaporator

Description

This model is an 8-position version of the S-EVAP-RB series, intended for evaporating solvents from 250 mL round-bottom flasks. Manufactured by Organomation, it features a water bath with a operational temperature span of 30 to 100°C. The unit's circular layout conserves laboratory bench area while its rotating mechanism ensures every sample can be conveniently reached from the front. Heat from the bath causes the solvent to boil, after which vapors are cooled in a condenser linked to a central water manifold. Condensate flows into dedicated collection flasks for each sample position. This setup is reported to enable the recovery of about 97% of the original solvent. The design reduces the number of necessary connections to one supply line and one drain line.
