RM5 Raman Microscope
Manufacturer: Edinburgh Instruments Ltd
SKU: RM5
Description
The RM5 from Edinburgh Instruments is a compact, fully automated Raman microscope designed for analytical and research applications. It features a truly confocal optical design, which is engineered to provide high spectral resolution, spatial resolution, and sensitivity. Key components include a 225 mm focal length spectrograph and a selection of TE-cooled detectors: a standard high-sensitivity CCD (1650 x 200 pixels), an enhanced sensitivity CCD (2000 x 256 pixels), an EMCCD for fast mapping, or an NIR detector array for spectral measurements up to 1700 nm. The system offers spectral resolution from below 0.3 cm⁻¹. It incorporates a 4-position automated filter turret for matching Raman ranges to laser excitation wavelengths and includes internal standards for auto-calibration to ensure data quality. System control, data acquisition, and analysis are managed through the proprietary Ramacle® software. The RM5 is also compatible with a range of modern microscope accessories.
