Resolve Handheld Raman Analyzer for Chemical Identification
Manufacturer: Agilent Technologies
SKU: Resolve
Description
The Resolve is a portable Raman spectrometer developed by Agilent Technologies for the identification of chemicals through various barriers. It employs an 830 nm laser source with adjustable power up to 475mW and utilizes spatially offset Raman spectroscopy (SORS) technology. This allows it to analyze the contents of sealed, non-metallic containers such as colored plastics, dark glass, paper, and fabrics without opening them. Primary applications include the identification of hazardous materials, narcotics, explosives, toxic industrial chemicals, and chemical warfare agents for hazmat, EOD, law enforcement, and border security operations. The analyzer features multiple operational modes, including through-barrier scan, surface scan, and a vial holder mode. It comes pre-loaded with extensive chemical libraries and is built with a ruggedized interface designed for use in protective gear. Optional WiFi connectivity enables remote control for high-risk scenarios.
