Description

The PCE-018 is a handheld, analog refractometer used for measuring the concentration of dissolved solids, expressed in Brix percentage. It is calibrated for a Brix range of 0 to 18%, with a scale resolution of 0.1%. This instrument is suitable for analyzing low-concentration, translucent aqueous solutions such as fruit juices, vegetable juices, maple sap, and certain industrial fluids. The optical system utilizes ambient light, presenting the measurement scale on a dual blue and clear background viewed through a focusing eyepiece.
