Description

The Labconco RapidVap Vertex is a dry evaporation system designed for the rapid concentration of solvent samples. It employs a combination of controlled dry heat and a directed nitrogen stream to accelerate the evaporation process for up to 50 samples simultaneously. Operation is managed via a touchpad interface, which facilitates the programming of time and temperature parameters. The unit's microprocessor can store up to ten distinct protocols to ensure consistent methodology across experiments. Compared to traditional water bath evaporators, this dry block system eliminates the need for water, associated additives, and routine maintenance related to bath contamination.
