Manufacturer: PCE Americas Inc.

SKU: PCE-RD 65

Description

The PCE-RD 65 is a radon gas detector intended for continuous indoor air quality monitoring. It features a semiconductor sensor with a measurement range from 3.3 Bq/m³ to 37 kBq/m³ and a stated accuracy of ±15%. The device takes measurements at 60-minute intervals and stores a data point every 6 hours, supporting a long-term data history of up to 504 days. Information is presented on a 2-inch color LCD, displaying current readings, minimum, maximum, and average values, as well as cumulative averages and historical averages for 12, 24, 48, and 96-hour periods. A user-configurable acoustic and visual alarm is available, with a threshold adjustable from 100 to 800 Bq/m³. Initial readings are available after approximately 6 hours of operation. To conserve power, the display can be switched to a standby mode. The unit is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, which provides up to 45 days of operation with the display off. This detector is used for ongoing radon level assessment in residential, commercial, and public buildings to identify potential health risks associated with prolonged exposure.
