Quo-Test®: Lab-accurate HbA1c results

EKF Diagnostics' Quo-Test is a fully automated, desktop point-of-care analyzer for HbA1c testing. It is intended to facilitate diabetes monitoring and management in clinical settings such as doctors' offices. The instrument utilizes a boronate affinity fluorescence quenching technique to analyze glycated hemoglobin from a 4 µl sample of whole blood, with results available in about four minutes. Measurements are reported in both IFCC and DCCT standard units. This method is recognized for being free from common interferences. The unit features a multilingual interface with on-screen instructions. It can store up to 7,000 patient results internally. Data can be exported via the integrated USB port, through connectivity software, or printed using a serial printer. The analyzer's physical footprint measures 205 mm wide by 135 mm deep by 205 mm high.
