Description

The Quantus NGS Starter Package from Promega is a fluorometric system designed for the precise quantification of DNA and RNA samples in preparation for next-generation sequencing workflows. It operates using a dual-channel optical system with excitation and emission filters, specifically targeting red fluorescence with an excitation wavelength of 640 nm and detecting emission between 660 and 720 nm. The instrument is configured to measure samples contained in thin-walled PCR tubes. A key component of the package is the inclusion of the QuantiFluor ONE dye system. Operation and data readout are facilitated through a built-in 3-inch LCD screen.
