Description
The Quantus™ Fluorometer is a benchtop instrument designed primarily for the fluorometric quantification of DNA and RNA. It accepts samples contained in thin-walled PCR tubes. The optical system employs dual-channel excitation and emission filters, with a specific channel for red fluorescence using an excitation wavelength of 640 nm and an emission detection range of 660–720 nm. Operation and results are managed via a built-in 3-inch LCD screen. Its primary application is the sensitive and specific measurement of nucleic acid concentration in solution.
