The Qpress 40 is a hot mounting press used for encapsulating metallographic samples in resin. It is engineered for rapid cycle times, facilitated by a powerful heating and cooling system with speed-optimized temperature control. The unit offers a temperature range from 0 to 200°C and can generate a maximum pressure between 250 and 350 bar. It features a robust bayonet closure mechanism and can be operated via a one-button function. Process parameters are displayed on a 7-inch industrial touchscreen. For user safety, the press can be connected to a patented extraction system to manage fumes. The heating element has a capacity of 1.6 kW. The overall dimensions of the unit are 365 mm in width, 538 mm in depth, and 433 mm in height.
