Description

The Qpol 300 series comprises single (A1-ECO+) and twin-wheel (A2-ECO+) grinding and polishing machines for materialographic laboratories. These units are designed to accommodate working wheels with diameters of 250 mm or 300 mm. Control is provided via a 4.3-inch touchscreen, which allows users to edit, save, and manage up to 200 distinct preparation methods through a user account system. A key feature is a holder design that enables sample preparation directly on the working wheel without requiring a carrier disc. Operational parameters such as pressure, speed, and rotation direction for both the sample head and working disc are adjustable. The grinder motor has a power rating of 0.75 kW and a speed range of 30 to 600 min⁻¹, while the polishing head operates at 0.18 kW with speeds from 30 to 160 min⁻¹. A 'Cleaning Boost' function spins the wheel at 750 rpm to dry the medium quickly. The physical footprint is 511 x 710 x 530-610 mm for the single-wheel model and 901 x 710 x 530-610 mm for the twin-wheel version.
