Description

The Qpol 250 BOT is a fully automated grinding and polishing robot for metallographic sample preparation. This compact unit integrates the entire preparation sequence, including grinding, polishing, and ultrasonic cleaning, into a single machine. It features a 16-position disc changer and a 6-channel dosing unit for automated abrasive application. An integrable sedimentation tank is part of the system design. Operation is managed through an intuitive touchscreen interface. The machine incorporates a user-friendly fixation system for central force sample holders. Its dimensions are 1320 mm wide, 800 mm deep, and 1500 mm high. The polishing head operates at speeds from 30 to 150 rpm, while the grinder functions between 50 and 600 rpm. Power consumption is rated at 1.1 kW for intermittent operation and 0.17 kW for the polishing head under continuous duty.
