Description
The QFX Fluorometer from DeNovix is a compact instrument for sensitive fluorescence-based quantification of nucleic acids and other biomolecules. It utilizes four solid-state LED light sources for excitation: UV (375 nm), Blue (470 nm), Green (525 nm), and Red (635 nm), each with defined excitation and emission bandwidths. This multi-channel design supports a broad range of fluorescence assays. The system requires only a 1 μL sample volume. It offers a wide dynamic range, capable of detecting dsDNA from 0.5 pg/μL to 4000 ng/μL and RNA from 250 pg/μL to 1500 ng/μL. The instrument is compatible with pre-configured assays from DeNovix, common third-party assays like Qubit™, and user-defined custom assays. Operation is managed through onboard EasyApps software. Data can be exported via multiple connectivity options including USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and email. The instrument is designed for minimal maintenance and does not require routine recalibration.
