Qcut 600 BOT Cutting Robot

Description

The Qcut 600 BOT is a fully automated cutting robot system for high-throughput and complex metallographic sample preparation. It utilizes cutting discs up to 610 mm (24 inches) in diameter and operates with a maximum of five axes (X, Y, Z, B, and an optional C-axis) for multi-directional cutting. The machine is built with a robust steel frame, measuring 1640 mm wide, 1480 mm deep, and 2200 mm high. It is driven by a 15 kW motor (S1 duty) with a variable spindle speed range from 1000 to 2400 rpm. The highly dynamic drives enable rapid travel speeds up to 80 mm/sec on the X and Y axes. A large rotary table (B-axis) offers a 360° swivel range, which can be expanded with an additional modular C-axis. The system includes a large cutting chamber with a 600 mm diameter table, accessible via sliding doors interlocked with safety systems. Integrated features comprise recirculating coolant management, automatic central lubrication, and an optional belt filter unit as an alternative to the standard cooling system.
