Description

The Qcut 400 A is a universal wet-abrasive cut-off machine designed for precise and automated sample sectioning. It provides automated travel and cutting control along two axes (Y and X), with an optional manual or automatic Z-axis available for parallel serial cutting operations. The machine is powered by a 7 kW motor (S1 duty) and offers variable cutting speeds. It features a large, solid aluminum cutting chamber with powder-coated surfaces and is accessed through sliding and side doors. Sample fixation is handled by a T-slot table with various clamping systems. For maintenance, a quick-change system simplifies cutting disc replacement. The workspace is illuminated by energy-efficient LED lighting. An intuitive graphical LCD interface software guides the user through the automated cutting process sequence. The overall dimensions of the unit are 1100 mm wide, 930 mm deep, and 1610 mm high.
