Manufacturer: Verder Scientific

SKU: M1822000

Description

The Qcut 250 A from Verder Scientific is a semi-automatic abrasive cut-off machine that blends manual control with automated functions. It is equipped with a 254 mm (10-inch) cut-off wheel and can accommodate workpieces with diameters up to 95 mm. The machine features a 3 kW motor for continuous operation (S1) and a 4 kW rating for intermittent use (S3/60%), with a fixed cutting speed of approximately 3015 rpm at 50Hz. Operation is facilitated by a single-hand lever with an automatic brake. The stainless steel cutting table includes T-slots for sample clamping and can be used in two modes: a dynamic automatic drive for pulsed cutting or a manual mode controlled by a hand wheel for traverse cuts. An optional automatic cross table is available for performing serial cuts. The machine's design, which includes a pulsed cutting technique and an automatic X-axis for oscillation cuts (Care-Cut), aims to provide clean sectioning results across a variety of material types.
