Description
The PURELAB Chorus 2+ system from ELGA LabWater is engineered to produce Type II+ purified water, suitable for applications where standard Type II water is insufficient. It employs a multi-stage purification process combining reverse osmosis, deionization, and electrodeionization, with an optional UV lamp for microbial control. This system is capable of delivering water with a resistivity ranging from 1 to greater than 15 MΩ-cm. It offers two output configurations, producing either 10 or 20 liters per hour, making it appropriate for labs with daily demands up to approximately 100 liters. A key operational feature is its fully recirculating design, which includes composite vent filtration on the reservoir to maintain consistent high purity levels above 15 MΩ-cm during periods of low use. The system's modular and configurable footprint allows for flexible installation, including wall-mounting or placement on or under a bench. It is commonly used to supply water for electrochemistry, cell culture, spectrophotometry, and as a feed source for ultrapure water systems. Data logging via USB is integrated for performance validation and system updates.
