Description
The PURELAB Chorus 2 Type II Water System by ELGA LabWater is a purification unit that produces general laboratory-grade water directly from a potable feed supply. It utilizes a combination of reverse osmosis (RO) and deionization (DI) technologies. The system is available in configurations providing an output of either 10 or 20 liters per hour, with water quality meeting Type II specifications: a resistivity between 1 and greater than 10 MΩ-cm and a total organic carbon (TOC) level below 30 parts per billion. The unit can be paired with optional storage reservoirs in capacities of 15, 30, 60, or 100 liters. Design features focus on operational simplicity, including straightforward installation and maintenance with clear purity indicators. Optional configurations include carbon dioxide removal to extend the life of downstream consumables and settings to reduce overall water consumption, particularly for feed water with low hardness. Multiple systems can be configured in parallel to increase total flow rate. The main unit dimensions are 375 mm wide by 340 mm deep by 435 mm high.
