Description
The PlateCrane SCICLOPS S is a robotic microplate handler engineered for integration into automated laboratory workcells. This system is designed to transport standard SBS-format labware, which includes microplates in 96-, 384-, and 1536-well configurations, as well as deep well blocks and disposable tip racks. Plates can be handled in either a portrait or landscape orientation. With a storage capacity of up to 450 unlidded plates or 275 plates with lids, the unit facilitates high-throughput workflows by automating the loading and unloading of instruments such as microplate readers, washers, and dispensers. Manufactured by Hudson Lab Automation, it serves as a dedicated automation component to connect various devices within a laboratory setup.
