Analytik Jena's PlasmaQuant PQ 9100 Elite is an inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometer (ICP-OES) engineered for high-precision elemental analysis. The system utilizes an Echelle double monochromator optical design, which provides a spectral resolution of 0.002 nm at 200 nm across a wavelength range from 160 to 900 nm. Detection is performed by a high-resolution CCD. This high-resolution optical system is intended to minimize spectral interferences, facilitating accurate trace analysis. The instrument incorporates a high-frequency generator and a V Shuttle Torch, which are designed to handle challenging sample matrices, including refractory metals, ferrous alloys, and petrochemicals, while maintaining low detection limits.
