PL-200 Slide Loader System

Description

The PL-200 Slide Loader System by Prior Scientific Inc. is an automated device for handling microscope slides. It has a capacity for 200 standard 1x3 inch slides or 100 larger 2x3 inch slides, with dimensions of 35 x 50 x 68 cm (WxDxH). The system loads a slide onto a compatible microscope stage in approximately 20 to 25 seconds. It features multiple sensors for slide detection on the gripper, stage, and rack to prevent damage and operational errors. Software integration is supported for applications including Surveyor with Turboscan, MetaMorph, and ImagePro. The PL-200 is designed to interface with existing microscopes when used with an appropriate motorized scanning stage.
