Description

The PCE-228WINE is a handheld pH meter engineered for the specific demands of winemaking and must analysis. It features a specialized electrode designed to provide accurate pH readings in wine and must samples. The device offers a high resolution of 0.001 pH and can measure temperature with a resolution of 0.1°F across a range of 32 to 140°F. Data management is facilitated through an SD card slot for direct storage in Excel format and an RS-232 interface for direct PC connection, with optional software and cables available. The meter performs automatic three-point calibration and supports automatic or manual temperature compensation via its integrated sensor. While primarily a pH and temperature meter, it can also measure redox potential (ORP) with the addition of a compatible electrode. The unit is powered by six included 1.5V batteries and has compact dimensions of 7.1 by 2.9 by 1.6 inches.
