Pegasus GC-HRT+ High Resolution TOFMS

Description

LECO's Pegasus GC-HRT+ is a high-resolution time-of-flight mass spectrometer built for gas chromatography applications. It is engineered to deliver multiple performance parameters concurrently, including rapid acquisition speed, high mass accuracy, and a wide dynamic range. The system operates in three distinct modes: Nominal, High Resolution, and Ultra-High Resolution, with the latter capable of achieving a mass resolution up to 50,000 FWHM. Data acquisition is managed by the Kinetic Algorithmic Data Acquisition System (KADAS), which is intended to maintain data integrity under demanding analytical conditions. For data processing, the included ChromaTOF software employs True Signal Deconvolution algorithms to aid in the accurate identification of chromatographic peaks. The standard ionization method is electron ionization.
