Description

LECO's Pegasus BTX is a benchtop gas chromatograph time-of-flight mass spectrometer (GC-TOF MS). It represents the latest generation in the company's BT series, building upon a platform known for reliability in non-targeted analysis. The instrument features a time-of-flight mass analyzer with a dual-stage single reflectron design, reported to deliver a resolution of greater than 1100 at m/z 219 and a linear dynamic range spanning five orders of magnitude. It retains the StayClean® ion source from previous models to minimize cleaning intervals. System control and data processing are managed by ChromaTOF® software. The Pegasus BTX is designed with a compact footprint and is intended for applications requiring full-spectrum acquisition and high sensitivity across various fields, including pharmaceuticals, environmental science, and food safety. LECO provides a two-year detector warranty with the system.
