Description

The Plas-Labs PCR UV Chamber is a static air enclosure designed to minimize airborne contamination for PCR and tissue culture work. The interior, measuring 23.5 x 17 x 21 inches (WxDxH), is decontaminated using an integrated 254 nm germicidal UV lamp. Safety features include proximity sensors that deactivate the UV light when the removable corner access doors are opened. The front viewing panel is constructed from 13 mm thick material, which provides protection against beta radiation from isotopes like 32P. The unit includes two acrylic shelves, one configured for pipettor storage. It operates on standard domestic power and has a crated weight of 110 pounds.
