Description

Labconco Purifier Filtered PCR Enclosures are vertical laminar flow workstations that create an ISO Class 5 (Class 100) environment for sensitive molecular biology procedures. They utilize a downflow of HEPA-filtered air to protect samples from particulate contamination during polymerase chain reaction setup. The enclosures are equipped with a 254 nm UV lamp system for decontaminating the work surface, with a digital timer offering programmable exposure intervals. Available in multiple widths, the unit specified has exterior dimensions of 36 inches wide by 28.6 inches deep by 36.8 inches high. It is important to note that this design protects the sample but does not provide operator protection from hazardous materials.
