Description

The Patriot series comprises ductless fume hoods constructed from thermally welded polypropylene, a material chosen for its chemical resistance and to prevent rust. A primary feature of these enclosures is their independence from external ductwork, allowing for flexible placement within a laboratory without connection to building exhaust systems. Available in multiple sizes, including 36, 48, and 72-inch widths, the models correspond to catalog numbers such as PT3000, PT4000, and PT5000. Standard features include an integral spill containment tray and an AirZone baffling system designed to promote uniform airflow across the work area. Filtration is handled by bonded carbon filters and optional HEPA filters to capture chemical vapors and particulates. The hoods operate at sound levels below 49 decibels and are available with either folding or sliding sash configurations. They are shipped fully assembled and have been tested according to ASHRAE 110 standards for containment performance.
