Description

The Parsum IPP 70-S is an inline particle sizing probe utilizing spatial filter velocimetry for real-time analysis. It is engineered for direct integration into process lines within chemical, food, and pharmaceutical manufacturing. The instrument measures particles from 50 to 6000 micrometers in size, even when they are moving at speeds up to 50 meters per second. This capability makes it suitable for monitoring and controlling unit operations such as granulation, grinding, agglomeration, and spray drying. A key feature is its ability to provide reproducible data under high solids loading conditions, which is particularly valuable for observing fluidized bed processes.
