Description

The Orion Platform by RareCyte is an instrument for multiplexed immunofluorescence (mIF) imaging in spatial biology. A defining characteristic of this system is its capacity to perform single-round staining for up to 20 distinct biomarkers. This methodology allows for the visualization and analysis of multiple protein targets within a single tissue section without the need for sequential staining and antibody removal cycles. By enabling high-plex imaging in one round, the platform aims to preserve sample integrity, reduce experimental time, and minimize potential artifacts. It is designed for applications in biomedical research, particularly in oncology and immunology, where understanding the spatial relationships and co-expression patterns of numerous cell types and biomarkers within the tissue microenvironment is critical.
