Description

The Optima MAX-TL is a benchtop ultracentrifuge engineered for high-speed separations in a compact footprint. It achieves a maximum rotational speed of 120,000 RPM, generating forces up to 657,000 x g. This model is designed to operate quietly and integrates advanced software that supports multiple languages, facilitating use in international laboratory settings. A key operational feature is its full compatibility with the established Beckman Coulter TL-Series of rotors and associated labware, allowing for method continuity. The unit incorporates several safety-focused designs, including containment features that permit its use within standard biosafety cabinets. An optional dual sterilizing-grade filter system is available for enhanced biocontainment. User interaction is managed through a color LCD touchscreen interface, which is designed to be operable with various glove types and presents large icons for straightforward program selection and run monitoring.
