The Genizer Online Liposome Extruder is designed for integration with a high-pressure homogenizer system. This configuration aims to streamline the liposome production process by reducing the number of extrusion cycles required to achieve a specific particle size distribution. The homogenizer, typically featuring a diamond interaction chamber, pre-processes the sample to the nanoscale before extrusion. Constructed from sanitary 316L stainless steel, the extruder assembly includes a jacketed thermo barrel for temperature control and is available with seals made from NBR or Viton materials. Key components consist of a large-pore support screen and a laser-micro-porous disc, which work together to maximize pressure efficiency and minimize potential contamination. The system is offered in multiple capacity configurations, including 25 mL, 200 mL, 1000 mL, 8 L, and 20 L versions. It is designed to be compatible with GMP and FDA standards. The product includes spare O-rings and an outlet hose, and is backed by a one-year warranty covering manufacturing defects.
