Description

The OmniFluo900 from Zolix Instruments is a modular spectrofluorometer designed for both fundamental research and routine laboratory analysis. Its flexible construction supports a wide array of measurement types, including steady-state spectra, transient spectra, quantum yield determinations, and variable temperature studies. The system offers extensive spectral coverage from 200 nm in the ultraviolet to 1700 nm in the near-infrared. High sensitivity is a hallmark, enabling reliable measurements of samples at low concentrations or in small volumes, with a water Raman signal-to-noise ratio exceeding 10,500:1. Spectral accuracy is supported by spectral correction functions and a high resolution of 0.1 nm. The instrument employs a thermoelectrically cooled photomultiplier tube (PMT) detector. Users can configure the system with multiple light source options, various detectors, and either single or double monochromators to suit specific application needs.
