omniDAWN Multi-Angle Light Scattering (MALS) Detector
Manufacturer: Waters | Wyatt Technology
Description
The omniDAWN is the first extended-range Multi-Angle Light Scattering (MALS) detector purpose-built for UPLC and UHPLC workflows. Featuring 18 angles of detection, it extends UPLC-compatible sizing tenfold, from approximately 50 to 500 nm in radius, delivering absolute molar mass and size measurements without compromising resolution or throughput. Its low dispersion design supports run times up to four times faster than conventional HPLC workflows, while reducing sample consumption by 30-50% and solvent use by approximately 40%. The omniDAWN integrates MALS with ultraviolet (UV) and refractive index (RI) detection, and is powered by ASTRA Software with dedicated workflows for ADCs, LNPs, and viral vectors. The system is 21 CFR Part 11 and EU Annex 11 compliant.
