NucSpot® Live 650 Nuclear Stain

Description

NucSpot® Live 650 is a far-red fluorescent dye for nuclear staining in live or fixed cell cultures. Provided in a 50 µL volume, it features excitation and emission peaks at approximately 650 nm and 675 nm. This spectral profile allows it to be used in multiplexing experiments with other fluorophores emitting at shorter wavelengths. The stain is membrane-permeant and binds directly to DNA, providing a specific signal from the cell nucleus. Its compatibility with live cells makes it applicable for dynamic imaging studies over time. The concentrated stock is diluted into an appropriate aqueous solution prior to application to cells. This reagent is utilized in fluorescence microscopy to facilitate the observation of nuclear structures and behaviors.
